How to make pumpkin pies

I thought this was funny since I have bought all that pumpkin.

Sunshine

Not only was i enjoying the sunshine yesterday but also was the dog and cat. It looks like it might shine some today.

What a week

The Howards have done good this week Tim had a nice trip and got a good deer. Tori got her two and I got mine. Then last night we all went to the Uof A for Cody he was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society. One of the requirements is that you have to be in the top 15 percent of your class. We are so proud of both our kids they are excelling in school.

Shortage

I guess you could say I was a little scared when the local tv station said there will be a shortage on pumkin this year. I thought yea right so when I went to pick up tori at school I stopped by our local store and the shelf was pretty low in stock and a sign said limit of 4 I usually just by the small cans but I decided if there was a limit I should get the big cans. I might could sell them to the highest bidder if there is none when Christmas comes around.

Applesauce Cake

I hope this is as good as the banana nut bread was. I cant wait till it cools some more to eat it. Our friends will be surprised this year with there food items.

Bread

This is my second batch to bake in the jars. I have given out 6 so far. It taste really good I am so glad Helen found this on the web. I am going to try and make some cake next but right now I am planning for Thanksgiving Dinner at my house. I had better get the place cleaned up.
